Actress Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband, Sunjay Kapoor, passed away on June 12 in the United Kingdom, leaving behind assets reportedly worth ₹30,000 crore. According to recent reports, this massive inheritance has sparked tensions between Sunjay’s ex-wife, actor Karisma Kapoor, and his current wife, Priya Sachdev.

Karisma Kapoor’s Kids Move To Delhi High Court

According to a TOI report, Karisma Kapoor’s kids Samaira and Kiaan, have moved to the Delhi High Court to claim Sunjay Kapoor’s Rs 30,000 crore assets against their stepmother, Priya Sachdev.

In their legal suit, Sunjay Kapoor’s children have accused their stepmother, Priya Sachdev, of forging his will. They contend that the document being presented as their father’s last will is neither valid nor genuine, but rather fabricated to their disadvantage.

Claiming they were unlawfully excluded from their father’s inheritance, the children have petitioned the court to take action against the alleged fraud and ensure their rightful share in Sunjay Kapoor’s estate.

About the involvement of Karisma Kapoor, a source told the website, “Karisma Kapoor is not involved in any inheritance or property-related matters. She has no claim, nor is she seeking any share in the estate. Her only concern is the well-being and future of her children.”

Sunjay Kapoor’s sister, Mandira Kapur, has also raised serious allegations, claiming that their mother was coerced into signing certain documents under pressure.

Mandira said, “What papers are they not showing us that they'd gotten signed in this 13-day period that they've taken over? My mother was made to sign papers behind locked doors. And this wasn't once, but twice.”

She added, “There were two doors, actually, a door inside and a door outside. So she couldn't hear me. The bottom line is she signed some papers during the mourning period. My mother was in deep grief. She came to me and said, 'I don't know what papers I've signed. And since then, we've been asking and getting no response. So, what are you hiding from us? I think this will all unfold at some point, and the truth will come out.”

Karisma Kapoor married Delhi-based businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003, but their relationship soon faced several challenges. After years of turbulence and public controversies, the couple eventually decided to part ways, finalising their divorce in 2016.
