New Delhi: India will have one last chance to iron out their issues when they take on Bangladesh in their final group-stage clash of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. Having already qualified for the semi-final after their win over New Zealand in their last game, India will look to head into the knockout stage with winning momentum on their side.
India beat New Zealand comprehensively by 53 runs via the DLS method in their last game to secure their spot in the semi-finals, having endured a topsy-turvy campaign in the group stage. Harmanpreet & Co. will take on seven-time champions Australia in the semi-finals after the Aussies beat South Africa in their final group stage game on Saturday.
While openers Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal continued their impressive run with centuries apiece against New Zealand, Jemmimah Rodrigues roared back to form with a brilliant unbeaten 76. The bowlers too did well as a unit, with pacers Renuka Singh Thakur and Kranti Gaud picking two wickets apiece.
