A leader from the Janasena party has confirmed that Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is on the mend following his recent surgery. The health issues he faced were attributed to the immense workload and stress stemming from election campaigning and governance responsibilities. On Monday, Yalamanchili MLA Sundarapu Vijay Kumar provided an update on Kalyan's health, assuring that there is no cause for concern and that he is recovering rapidly after the surgery performed on Saturday.

Insights from Janasena Leader

In a conversation with a news media outlet, Kumar emphasized that Kalyan's health is improving and highlighted the significant stress and workload that leaders have endured in recent years. He noted that Kalyan has faced health challenges for some time but is now doing well. As an actor, Kalyan has a responsibility to maintain his health, which is a considerable burden. Kumar remarked that everyone needs rest, especially given the struggles faced from 2019 to 2024.

Government's Commitment to Public Expectations

Kumar further stated that since coming to power, the government has been diligently working to meet public expectations. He mentioned that they have been actively engaging with the community and have initiated state development projects. The public has high expectations, as evidenced by the significant majority achieved in Visakhapatnam. He also pointed out that the demanding schedules have impacted the health of many leaders, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, leading to various health issues.

Details of Kalyan's Surgery

According to a statement from Kalyan's political secretary, P. Hariprasad, the Deputy Chief Minister had been experiencing health problems for several months, culminating in surgery on Saturday evening. Hariprasad reported that Kalyan felt acute discomfort while discussing administrative matters on Friday morning, prompting his hospitalization. Following several medical tests, including an MRI, doctors deemed surgery necessary. The procedure was successful, and physicians have advised a recovery period of seven to ten days before he resumes official duties.
