Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has ordered an investigation into the cruise accident that took place near Bargi Dam in Jabalpur, the cultural capital of Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister said that this accident seems to have happened due to weather reasons like cyclone. The real cause of the accident will become clear after the investigation report comes.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said that this accident has saddened everyone. The team engaged in relief and rescue operations worked bravely and promptly. Those who saved the passengers by risking their lives will be honored in the upcoming August 15 function.

Bargi Dam Cruise Accident: 29 people evacuated safely

While talking to the media on May 1, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that as soon as information about the accident was received, the state government had immediately started relief and rescue operations. He said that Tourism Minister Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh, ACS Sanjay Dubey and administrative officials were immediately sent to the spot. CM said that NDRF and SDRF teams were also deployed immediately. So far 29 people have been evacuated safely.

Rescue Operation in Bargi Dam: Lives of people saved by cutting the cruise

The Chief Minister said that relief and rescue operations are going on continuously in Bargi Dam. The rescue team worked with utmost courage and wisdom. To save many passengers, the team had to cut off part of the cruise, after which people were evacuated safely. He said that due to the promptness of the rescue team, the lives of many people could be saved. The Government will honor all such members who displayed humanity and courage in these difficult times.

MP Government Compensation: Rs 4 lakh assistance to the families of the deceased

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed deep condolences to the people who lost their lives in the accident. He said that this incident is extremely painful and the state government stands with the bereaved families. Instructions have been issued by the state government to provide financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased. The government has asked the administration to ensure all possible help to the affected families.
