There is a temple of Shani Dev in Juni city of Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. It is said that Shani Dev himself came here. About 300 years ago, there was a 20 feet high mound at the site of the temple. In this temple, devotees perform oil anointment of Shani for fulfillment of their wishes. Here Shani Dev is offered mustard oil mixed with sesame seeds.

Shanichara temple is situated on the border of Gwalior and Morena. This is considered to be the temple of Tretayuga. A big special statue of Shani Dev is installed here. This statue is made from a meteorite that fell from the sky.
