Ayodhya, Read: A new game has emerged in the police’s recovery of money in the Ram temple offering embezzlement case. This is also being considered as his foolishness or a conspiracy to save some elders. According to Fard, accused Avinash Shukla told that he misappropriated the cash while calculating the offerings and returned the remaining amount to the trust.

On his information, on June 26, the police had recovered cash, jewelery and foreign currency (dollars) from the locker of trustee and plaintiff Sude Krishna Mohan. The biggest question arising in this regard is that when the plaintiff knew this, why did he not mention it in the complaint given to the police.

Avinash was arrested on June 5, the CCTV footage of which was also revealed. In which policemen, some in uniform and some in plain uniform, are seen arresting him from a yoga center in Kaushalpuri and taking him away in a car. During this time, a black bag is also seen in the hand of an employee, which is believed to contain cash.

Another fact is important here that till then Trustee Krishna Mohan had not entered Ayodhya, at that time Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, member Dr. Anil Mishra and special invitee member Gopal Rao were handling the arrangements. Whereas, according to Fard, accused Avinash himself had returned the amount. Which is kept in the locker of Trustee Krishna Mohan.

On his instance, in the presence of four witnesses including the plaintiff, the police recovered 20.39 lakh cash, 1121 US dollars, 11.58 grams of gold chain and ring and about 159.54 grams of silver jewelery from the locker of Krishna Mohan. Here another question arises that when the stolen cash etc. was recovered, why was it kept in the trust’s locker, why was it not handed over to the police.

At the same time, there is another question that when Trustee Krishna Mohan had kept money etc. in his locker then why did he not mention it in the police complaint. Legal experts believe that this amounts to a criminal act. At present, the police has taken the accused Avinash on remand on Thursday. Now he will be interrogated. This can also lead to many big revelations. People’s eyes are now fixed on the next action of the police.

Major questions raised by Fard

  • If the allegedly recovered cash and foreign currency was kept in the trustee’s locker, then why was it not mentioned in the complaint given to the police?

  • According to the police, the accused himself had returned the amount, so why was he not immediately handed over to the police?

  • On whose instructions and under what procedure was the alleged stolen money and other items kept in the trust locker?

  • When and through what means was the police informed about the recovery?

  • Were these facts already known to the police during the investigation or did they come to light later?

  • Will the answers to these questions come out during the interrogation of the accused during remand?
