Timothée Chalamet‘s iconic movie with a near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score is now available to stream on Hulu. The comedy-drama featured Saoirse Ronan in the lead role, among others.

Lady Birdstarring Timothée Chalamet and Ronan in prominent roles, is now streaming on Hulu. The 2017 film was directed by Greta Gerwig and was both a critical and commercial success. On Rotten Tomatoesthe movie currently holds an almost perfect Tomatometer score of 99%. It also resonated with audiences, which is evident from its solid 79% Popcornmeter score.

The official synopsis for Lady Bird reads, “A teenager (Saoirse Ronan) navigates a loving but turbulent relationship with her strong-willed mother (Laurie Metcalf) over the course of an eventful and poignant senior year of high school.”

The ensemble cast also includes Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, Lucas Hedges, Beanie Feldstein, and Lois Smith. Other key cast members are Stephen McKinley Henderson, Odeya Rush, Jordan Rodrigues, Jake McDorman, and Laura Marano.

Lady Bird received numerous accolades at major awards ceremonies. During the 2017 NYCC Awards, it won Best Actress and Best Film awards. It also won Best Director and Best Supporting Actress awards at the 2017 NBR Awards.

At the 2018 Golden Globes, it won Best Picture in the Musical or Comedy category. For Ronan’s sensational performance in the story, the movie also won the Best Actress award.

Lady Bird was also nominated at the 2018 Oscars in five categories, namely Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress.

Gerwig also wrote the film’s screenplay, which was initially released widely in theaters on November 24, 2017. Made on a $10 million budget, Lady Bird went on to earn over $80 million worldwide.
