According to AAP, Kuldeep Kumar was protesting in Kalyanpuri demanding compensation for the family of the deceased and other demands after the murder of a sanitation worker. During this time the police allegedly took him with them.

The party claims that the information about where the MLA has been taken is not yet clear. AAP is continuously raising questions on Delhi Police and government regarding this matter. Habeas Corpus petition has been filed in Delhi High Court against the alleged lifting of the MLA. Amidst the rapidly changing developments, the High Court has agreed to hear this petition.

At 4:30 in the morning, about 20 people came and took the MLA away.

Senior advocate Shadan Farasat mentioned the petition before the Delhi High Court bench in the matter of AAP MLA Kuldeep Kumar being allegedly taken to an undisclosed location by the police. This bench is of Chief Justice DK Upadhyay and Justice Tejas Karia. The lawyer told the court that around 4:30 am on Tuesday morning, around 20 people in plain clothes came and took away MLA Kuldeep Kumar with them. According to him, at that time the MLAs were protesting against the murder of a sanitation worker.

'Where is Kuldeep Kumar?'

Shadan Farasat told the court that there was no information about the MLA's whereabouts after he was allegedly taken away. He raised the question that no one has been informed about Kuldeep Kumar's whereabouts at present. The High Court has agreed to hear the habeas corpus petition filed against the alleged transportation of the MLA by the police.

Accused of breaking CCTV cameras and taking away DVR

Senior advocate Shadan Farasat requested the Delhi High Court to hear the petition on Tuesday itself in the case of Kuldeep Kumar being allegedly taken away by the police. He mentioned the matter before the bench of Chief Justice DK Upadhyay and Justice Tejas Karia. The court agreed to hear the case. Earlier, AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal had alleged that Delhi Police allegedly picked up party MLA Kuldeep Kumar from his house in East Delhi's Kondli. Kejriwal also claimed that the police broke the CCTV cameras of the house and took away the DVR. AAP says that Kuldeep Kumar was protesting against the murder of a sanitation worker and was raising his voice for other demands including compensation for the family of the deceased.

Where is our MLA Kuldeep? Kejriwal asked questions to PM Modi

Aam Aadmi Party's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the alleged police transportation of MLA Kuldeep Kumar. By posting on social media platform X, he directly asked the Prime Minister where is Kuldeep Kumar at this time? Kejriwal claimed that Delhi Police is not giving any information about the MLA to AAP. He raised the question that if the police can pick up a sitting MLA from his house, then where will the common man go for help.

The AAP chief made serious allegations against the Central Government and Delhi Police regarding this action and said that the country will not accept such action. Other AAP leaders have also targeted the Delhi Police and the Central Government over the alleged transportation of Kuldeep Kumar. Party leaders have demanded to immediately bring forward the MLA and make public the reason for his alleged detention.

Seeking justice under BJP rule is also a crime, alleges AAP MLA Sanjeev Jha

AAP MLA and Delhi State Vice President Sanjeev Jha has targeted the Delhi government and police over the alleged transportation of Kuldeep Kumar by the police. He reached the DCP office of East District to get information about the case. Sanjeev Jha claimed that he tried to get information about Kuldeep Kumar from Delhi Police officials, but no one is ready to give clear information in this regard. He alleged that at around 4 am on Tuesday, policemen in plain clothes picked up Kuldeep Kumar from his house, but now the police is maintaining silence about his condition and whereabouts.

Demanding justice in the murder of a sanitation worker

According to Sanjeev Jha, Kuldeep Kumar was demanding justice and compensation to the family of the deceased in the case of murder of a sanitation worker in Kalyanpuri. He said that instead of suppressing the voice of the MLA, the government should discuss the demands of the sanitation workers and the family of the deceased. The AAP leader alleged that 'even demanding justice has become a crime under BJP rule.' He demanded Delhi Police to clarify the status of Kuldeep Kumar.
