New Delhi: Vivo X500 The series is now going to hit the global market after China. The company has fixed the launch date of this new flagship series in Europe as 27 October 2026. According to the information released on Vivo's Austria website, the launch event will take place at 4 pm CET i.e. 8:30 pm IST. The company has confirmed the launch of the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max for Europe, while in China the series consists of the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max.

Vivo X500 series was introduced in China on 21 September 2026. Now the company has announced the date of the launch event for the European market. According to the available information, pre-orders for the new models in Europe will start on the day of launch and sales are said to start from November 5.

Vivo has also made a microsite live for the global launch. The camera system developed in collaboration with ZEISS is the major attraction in the company's new flagship series. In the launch promotion, Vivo has placed special emphasis on photography and video recording capabilities.

ZEISS camera will be a big attraction

Vivo X500 series has been designed under the company's new imaging strategy. X500 Pro Max launched in China has a 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide and 200MP periscope telephoto camera. This model comes with ZEISS imaging system and also supports 400mm-equivalent telephoto extender.

According to Vivo, the X500 Pro Max also has imaging capabilities like 4K 240fps slow-motion video recording and 8K Live. However, the company has not yet shared complete information about whether the camera hardware and features in the global variant will be the same as the Chinese model or whether they will be changed.

Big difference revealed regarding battery

Battery capacity information regarding the global variant has been revealed from the EPREL database listing. According to the report, the global model of Vivo In China, this model has been provided with 8,000mAh battery.

Similarly, the EPREL listing of the X500 Pro shows a rated capacity of 6,305mAh. It can be offered as a normal capacity of around 6,500mAh. In China, the X500 Pro has a 6,510mAh battery.

Another model with model number V2622 is listed to have a 5,180mAh rated battery, which is likely to be offered with a normal capacity of around 5,300mAh. However, the situation regarding the final marketing identity of this model is not completely clear yet. So it would be too early to directly write it off as the global Vivo X500.

How big a battery is available in China?

Vivo X500 launched in China has a 7,500mAh battery. It supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The X500 Pro has a 6,510mAh battery and the X500 Pro Max has a 8,000mAh battery.

Pro model equipped with Dimensity 9600 Pro

For performance, MediaTek's Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset has been provided in Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. The standard X500 launched in China comes with Dimensity 9600M processor. The entire series has been launched with Android 17 based OriginOS 7.

This is the price of Vivo X500 series in China

The starting price of Vivo X500 in China has been kept at 5,499 yuan. The price of X500 Pro starts at 6,499 yuan and the price of X500 Pro Max starts at 6,999 yuan. These prices in Indian Rupees work out to be around Rs 79 thousand, 93 thousand and Rs 1 lakh, but these are only currency conversions. Global or Indian launch price cannot be determined from these figures.

When will Vivo X500 series arrive in India?

At present, Vivo has not officially announced the launch date or price of the X500 series in India. A launch date of October 27th has been confirmed for Europe. We will have to wait for the company's official announcement regarding availability, models and price in India.
