Tezzbuzz Desk – Director Abhishek Pathak was excited to bring Akshay Khanna back in the film, but due to his demand at the last moment, he walked out of the film. After this, the biggest challenge before the makers was how to create a new character for a new actor in a short time.

Abhishek Pathak told that only 7 to 10 days were left for the shooting to start. The set was being prepared and they had to take a decision immediately. In such a situation, he along with his team decided that the character itself would have to be changed. It took about 7 days to prepare the blueprint of the new character. After this the work of writing the scene was started.

The director said that it was not easy to create a new character in such a short time frame, but the team did a very good job under pressure. After this process, Jaideep Ahlawat entered the film.

Abhishek Pathak also shared his thoughts about taking the 'Drishyam' franchise forward. He said that he does not want to make a fourth part, because this story cannot be taken forward just for the sake of taking it forward. According to him, the franchise should end on a good note and with 'Drishyam 3' the story will reach that point.

At the same time, amidst the end of the Hindi franchise, work is also going on on the Korean version of 'Drishyam'. Abhishek Pathak told that he is making a film in collaboration with Korean producers. He has the global rights of the franchise, so he is also directly involved in this project as a producer.

The basic spirit of 'Drishyam' will be retained in the Korean version, but the story will be adapted according to the culture and laws there. According to Abhishek Pathak, the shooting of this project is going to start soon.
