Dr. Pawan Singhal, Senior Professor, Department of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery, Sawai Mansingh Hospital, has been nominated as the President of the Indian Academy of Otolaryngology and Head-Neck Surgery (IAOHNS) in India.

IAOHNS Chairman Padmashree Prof. Dr. Mohan Kameshwaran said that Dr. Pawan Singhal, senior professor of the Department of Ear, Nose, Throat, Diseases, has been nominated as the National President. His tenure will be for one year. During this period, Dr. Singhal has been entrusted with the responsibility of doing excellent work towards improving graduate and post-graduate medical education in the country and abroad.

With his nomination, he has been given the responsibility to work in important areas to ENT medical education, technological change, Artificial Intelligence, robotic surgery, research, and innovation in the country.

IAOHNS Secretary Dr. Vijay Krishnan said that it works for the prevention of diseases for better health of the people across the world and also works on better implementation of public welfare schemes of the government.

Dr. Pawan Singhal is also performing the duties of Secretary and President of National Neurology Association and Secretary of Rajasthan ENT Association. He is also continuously working on tobacco control and promotion of girl education in the state.
