The company has priced the laptop at Rs 2,89,990, excluding taxes. So actually the price of this will go beyond 3 lakhs. You won’t find this laptop on Amazon or Flipkart but will have to go through HP’s authorized commercial partners, who sell laptops to large companies.

Why is this laptop special?

Its biggest feature is that it can run AI models without the cloud. Running large AI models these days requires large servers. But HP says that with this laptop you can run large AI models with 300 billion parameters directly on your laptop. No need for an external server.

Processor and power

AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor is installed in it. This is not a normal processor, it is specially made for AI. It can accommodate up to 192GB of RAM, which is quite a lot for a laptop. And it also gets 160GB of VRAM. So, no matter how big the file is, whether it is 3D design, everything runs very smoothly. It also has an NPU that gives an AI speed of 55 TOPS. That means AI works will be done very fast.

Display and look

It has a large 16-inch 2.8K OLED display. Its refresh rate is 120Hz, so the screen looks very clear and smooth. Colors also look very true, which is very important for creators.

Despite having so much power, this laptop is not thick. It weighs only 1.9 kg and is only 17.9mm thick. Can be easily carried in a bag. The company has also revamped its cooling system, which works 81.8% better than the old model. So the laptop does not heat up or make noise even when working continuously at 100W.

Battery and other features

It has a large 96Wh battery. The company says it will last for 14 hours on a single charge. If true, that’s pretty good for a laptop of this power. It also comes with two fast chargers of 140W and 180W, both with USB-C. It also has a 5G option, so you can access high-speed internet by inserting the SIM wherever you are.

For security, HP Wolf Security is provided, which keeps your data safe. Who is this laptop for? This laptop is not for college kids or simple office work. It is best for those who want to train AI models daily, do extensive coding, 4K video editing or 3D modeling. Although the price may seem high, it is still a small super-computer for this level of work.
