The highly anticipated romantic comedy “Love Insurance Kompany,” directed by Vignesh Shivan and starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, is scheduled to premiere on September 18 of this year, the film’s producers said Monday.

Actress Nayanthara, who is also director Vignesh Shivan’s wife, produced the movie.

The news was posted on X by Seven Screen Studio, the producing company presenting the movie. “This SEPTEMBER 18th, come and celebrate the festival of LOVE in theaters,” the production company posted with a video clip announcing the film’s release date.

“LIK from September 18th,” Vignesh Shivan said on his Instagram account. I need your love, support, and blessings.

As you may remember, the filmmaker wrote a long article in April announcing that the film’s post-production work had started.

“A lot of love, passion, honesty, and hard work from everyone has built #LoveInsuranceKompany,” he had said. There were several obstacles to overcome each day of the shoot! However, we never forgot to grin and take pleasure in the process.

The filmmaker said that whatever enchantment they attempted to create in the movie would not have been achievable without the cooperation of every character.

“Without compromising even for one frame, we are proud that we have put in our best efforts to make an original, fresh entertaining movie,” Vignesh Shivan said.

The filmmakers then said that they wanted to release the movie for a festival. He said, “To Bring it (to) you on a festival date to celebrate more with your friends & families.”

In addition to Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, Love Insurance Kompany, whose filming had just completed, also stars S J Suryah and Gouri Kishen.

The film’s technical crew is amazing. It has music by Anirudh and photography by renowned filmmaker Ravivarman. Popular stunt artist Peter Hein coordinated the film’s stunts, while Pradeep Ragav has been tasked with editing it.

Seven Screen Studios and actress Nayanthara are producing the movie.
