Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department is scheduled to begin the registration process for the Maharashtra FYJC Admission 202 today, May 21, 2025. The application window link will activate at 11 am and the last date to apply will be at 6 pm on May 28, 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for the CAP Round 1 Class 11th Registration can apply online at mahafyjcadmissions.in.


This year, admission to the First Year Junior College (FYJC) in Maharashtra covers above 20 lakh seats located in 9,281 junior colleges that provide the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. In 2025, the whole process of getting admitted will be taking place online via a portal centrally, ensuring transparency and efficiency.

Practice Registration (Mock Round)-- May 19 to May 20 (Data deleted after 6 PM)


Main Registration Window-- May 21 to May 28 (until 6 PM)


Provisional Merit List Release-- May 30 at 11:00 AM


Grievance and Correction Window-- May 30 to June 1 (until 4 PM)


Final Merit List Publication-- June 3 at 4:00 PM


Zero-Round Allotment (Trial Round)-- June 5


College Allotment List (Round 1)-- June 6 at 10:00 AM


Document Upload & Admission Confirmation-- June 6 to June 12 (between 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM)


Vacant Seats Announcement (Post Round 1)-- June 14 at 10:00 PM


Quota Admissions Begin (In-house, Management, Minority)-- From June 6 onward


Students can secure a seat in a college if they get their first choice, it is required to confirm admission to that college. If they do not do this, they may lose the opportunity to be admitted in the following rounds.


Documents Required for FYJC 2025 Admission


Students applying through the Central Admission Process (CAP) must keep the following documents ready for upload:


-Class 10 Marksheet or Equivalent Exam Result


-Original School Leaving Certificate (Class 10)


-Caste Certificate (if applicable)


-Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (for applicable categories)


-EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Certificate (if applicable)


-Disability Certificate (if applicable)


-Earthquake/Project-Affected Certificate (if applicable)


-Certificate for Children of Ex-Servicemen (if applicable)


-Sports Quota Certificate (National/International level, verified by the Deputy Director of Sports or District Sports Officer)


-Orphan Certificate (issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Women and Child Development Department)


For International Students:


-Certificate and marksheet verified by the Indian Embassy in their home country (if applicable)


-Transfer Order & Joining Letter (for children of employees transferred in government, central government, or private sector jobs)
