Indian Railways has launched a new super app Swarail to make digital service better. Earlier this app was introduced to Android users, but now it is also available on iOS. This app has been developed by CRIS (Center for Railway Information Systems) and is currently available for limited users in beta version. Its latest version V127 has been released.

The new Swarail app of IRCTC will be launched commercially soon and it will replace the current IRCTC Rail Connect app.

Rail Connect vs. Swarail: What is the difference?
IRCTC Rail Connect:
This app is still used by millions of passengers to book online railway tickets, watch PNR status and check charts. In this, an IRCTC account is necessary for reservation.

Swarail – Now all facilities in the same app:
The new Swarail app is not limited to ticket booking only. In this, you will get every necessary service to the railway on the same platform.

Booking of reservation tickets as well as UTS (unreserved ticket) and platform tickets

Train running status, PNR Inquiry, Onboard Food Delivery, Rail Parcel, Freight Service, Rail Help etc.

AI integration and special attention to privacy of passengers

You can log into it only with the current credentials of IRCTC and UTS apps.

Now passengers will not need different apps, because swarail will provide every facility in the same app.
