This time, not only desi celebrities wearing creations of designers like Gaurav Gupta and Manish Malhotra walked on the prestigious red carpet, but international celebrities also attended the ceremony designed by Indian designers. American actress Taraji P. Henson attended Gaurav Gupta’s Moonstone Celestial Saree Gown in the 78th Cannes Festival. According to a post on Gaurav Gupta’s Instagram, “The silhouette is coined in Moonstone Ivory with a sheer architectural drapes, a dramatic high slit and a sculpture Palla; Greetings as a divine expansion of the body. Tonal is shining like stardust, which captures both light and motion.” Taraji wore this magnificent dress to host his hosting at the prestigious AMFAR Gala. Undoubtedly, Gaurav Gupta’s best designed apparel for Kan 2025 is a black velvet body made for actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Body-fitted gowns were handcuffed by hand in silver, gold, charcoal and black shades. To add its dramatic effects, the actress completed her look with hand woven Banarasi brocade cape in Varanasi.
