Following a report in the FPJ (May 31 edition) about a large number of touts at the Ola taxi pick-up stand at T2 terminal the management of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport has taken up the serious matter with Ola Cabs.

A spokesperson said they were awaiting a response from the cab aggregator.

Several readers also called up to share their horrifying experience in getting a cab at the Ola point, which appears to have been taken over by touts.

Bibhujeet Jena, who is the Ola in-charge of the aggregator's services at airports, did not respond to queries from the FPJ about the shoddy services at T2 terminal and the domination of touts.

Meanwhile, in a recent incident, several Ola drivers beat up the staff of Crystal Services, which manages the queues at T2 terminal.
