NEET UG Exam Controversy

Questions regarding the NEET UG exam have resurfaced following the release of the answer key. Students have claimed that two questions in the exam have two correct answers, leading to confusion and causing some to skip those questions. In response, students have lodged complaints with the NTA via email.

The NEET UG exam took place on May 4 this year, with over 20 lakh students participating. The NTA had implemented extensive measures to ensure the integrity of the exam, and no major disruptions were reported. However, following the release of the answer key, doubts about the exam's validity have emerged. The answer key was made public just a day ago, and it is anticipated that the results will be announced either at the end of this week or the following week.

Previous Issues with NEET UG

Interestingly, last year also saw two incorrect questions in the NEET UG exam, which prompted students to raise objections. However, no action was taken regarding those complaints. A petition was filed in the Supreme Court in November concerning this issue, but the court declined to consider it, stating that no further action could be taken.

Submitting Objections

Students who took the NEET can file objections against the provisional answer key released by the NTA. A fee of 200 rupees per question is required for this process. The NTA has clarified that for each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, while 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers.

  • Click on the NEET UG 2025 answer key objection link on the homepage.
