Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has canceled the applications of 259 candidates for the PCS Main Exam 2024. This action has been taken due to reasons like not submitting the application form, submitting it in the wrong format, and not submitting certificates in support of claims. Some candidates had submitted incomplete educational certificates, caste certificates, or other necessary documents.

Some candidates were rejected due to mistakes in the application format. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has allowed the affected candidates to appeal till June 11, 2025. Candidates can register their objections by visiting the official website uppsc.up.nic.in. This step ensures transparency in government recruitment examinations. UP Public Service Commission canceled applications.The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has canceled the application forms of 259 successful candidates for the PCS Mains Exam 2024. The commission has issued the reason for the cancellation and has given the candidates a chance to make corrections till 5 pm on June 11, 2025. The commission has allowed the candidates to appeal by registered post or by appearing in person, the commission has said that representations received after 5:00 pm on June 11, 2025, will not be considered.

Why did UPPSC cancel the applications?

The application forms of 138 candidates have been canceled for not submitting the hard copy to the commission office by the prescribed date (April 1).

38 applications have been canceled because the candidates did not have the mandatory educational qualification for the posts for which they were successful.

The applications of 25 candidates have been canceled for not being provided in the prescribed format.

3 applicants had obtained the mandatory educational qualification after the application date.

26 candidates who applied under the freedom fighter category did not attach the certificates with the hard copy.

The application of one candidate has been canceled because instead of PCS 2024, he had submitted the application form of 2023 and 1 other candidate did not attach the Inter certificate.

The date of birth of 1 candidate did not match the high school certificate and another had applied in the EWS category, but had submitted the OBC certificate with the hard copy.

The result came in February.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission had declared the result of PCS Pre 2024 on 28 February 2025. 15066 candidates were declared successful for 947 posts. Onkar Singh, Under Secretary of the Commission, informed about the cancellation of the application. The PCS Mains 2024 exam will be held from 29 June to 2 July 2025. For this, examination centers will be set up in two districts - Prayagraj and Lucknow. UP PCS exam will be held in 2 shifts - from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

On June 29 (Sunday), there will be a General Hindi exam in the first shift and an Essay exam in the second shift.

On June 30, there will be General Studies I paper in the first shift and General Studies II paper in the second shift.
