New Delhi: Weeks after walking out of the highly anticipated film, Hera Pheri 3, actor Paresh Rawal confirmed his return to the franchise.
After Paresh walked out of the film, Akshay Kumar’s production house, Cape of Good Films, sued Paresh Rawal. Later, the actor returned Rs 11 lakh along woth 15 per cent interest to the production company.
Speaking with Himanshu Mehta, actor Paresh Rawal said, “There’s no controversy. I believe that when people love something so much, then you have to be extra careful. It is our responsibility toward the audience. The audience has given you so much adulation. You can’t take things for granted.
He further added, “So, I was of the opinion that sab saath mein aaye, mehnat karein. (Laughs).
The actor also confirmed his return as Baburao to SCREEN, and when asked, the actor responded with a “yes”.
Paresh Rawal’s exit from Hera Pheri 3 courted a massive controversy. Initially, the reports suggested that the actor walked out of the film due to creative differences, he, however, denied it. Paresh took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ was not due to creative differences. I reiterate that there are no creative disagreement with the filmmaker. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr Priyadarshan.”
