Actor Amol Parashar has finally addressed the ongoing speculation about his relationship with actress Konkona Sen Sharma. Rumours sparked after the duo was seen together at the screening of Amol’s latest web series, fueling gossip about a possible romantic link.

Speaking in a recent interview, Amol said, “Nobody asked me. Instead, everyone started bringing their assumptions to the table.” He added that while he used to respond to every rumour in the past, he now prefers to ignore the noise and only speak up when necessary.

When asked about his equation with Konkona, Amol avoided defining the relationship. “You have people in your life—some you’re close to, and some you’re closer to. Not every relationship needs a label. If you’re happy, the other person’s happy, and your family is happy, that’s all that matters,” he said.

Recalling a Similar Rumour Involving Vicky Kaushal

Amol drew a parallel to a similar situation involving his Sardar Udham co-star Vicky Kaushal. “I remember telling Vicky to just clarify things because people were asking me. He said, ‘I will, at the right time.’” The anecdote highlights how speculation often affects co-actors as well.

Reflecting on the attention his personal life has received, Amol commented humorously, “People are enjoying it. No matter how much acting you do, it’s the link-up news that gets all the views!”

Amol also hinted at future projects, suggesting that while his character in Kull dies, fans can expect more of him in the second season of Gram Chikatsalay. “In that series, I’m very much alive,” he teased.
