The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has urged property owners to take advantage of its ongoing Abhay Yojana, under which a waiver of up to 90% on penalty charges is being offered to those who clear their entire property tax dues in one payment by August 15.

Only three days remain for citizens to avail this maximum concession.

Under the scheme, payments made between July 18 and August 15 will qualify for a 90% penalty waiver. Payments made between August 16 and 31 will attract a 75% waiver, while those made between September 1 and 10 will get a 50% waiver. A 25% waiver will be offered for payments made between September 11 and 20. The civic body clarified that this is a one-time and final scheme.
